Good Little Printer
I’ve been using the pixma printer for a few months now and have been having a lot of fun with it. As someone who does a bunch of art and writing I have had zero troubles.I was worried after seeing people complain about the colors not coming out correctly but after a few prints and changing images to CMYK everything goes smoothly and the colors come out exactly as they’re supposed to.Another concern was the wireless connection but I have had zero issues with it. I usually have my printer unplugged too and even then it connects to my laptop once booted up.I’ve tried all the different print modes and paper and it all comes out perfect regardless.Printing and scanning is quick as well. The scanner does a great job getting all the little details so I have zero issues with scanning artwork as well.My other favorite part about it is that it’s small and lightweight. So if I have to make room on my desk it’s no hassle moving it around.As far as ink capacity goes I feel like I have gotten a lot of prints out of it. I still haven’t ran out and I’ve been printing regularly for the past 2 months. I have about a quarter left according to the canon quick menu and it’s still going strong. Which is honestly surprising because I have been using the colored ink a lot.All in all I’m incredibly happy and impressed with this printer. Especially because it was a good deal as well. Hopefully it’ll keep running for years to come.

Super flexible and easy connectivity for quality prints!
Purchased this printer as a replacement for a three year old Canon MG3620. I like the printer and it does everything I need from a printer with built in scanner. It’s inexpensive so it offsets some of the ink cost. But, be warned, Canon ink in cartridges is expensive, but not near as expensive as a cheap clone ink or refilled cartridge that doesn’t work. So I buy nothing but Canon ink cartridges.The color photos are nice and clear when printed on photo paper, it is fast enough printing, and has a quiet mode. I like that I can connect via wireless, bluetooth, and via USB.It’s easy to set up and since it has been around a while there are lots of instructive videos for this printer to set some options you might not think it has.I had to replace the last Canon MG3620 because it had reached the print limits. Yeah, I know, why should there be print limits on a printer? I suspect to ensure quality of printing. None-the-less, I printed a lot of border to border 4×6 photos and labels. Printing border to border uses extra ink which is wasted somewhat because what goes beyond the border is soaked into the absorber. Cleaning the ink absorber is easy, but it effectively reduces the overall the print limit. At least that is my experience. But then, I use the printer every single day, so I guess a $50 printer lasting little over three years is pretty cheap. Of course, it never fails when it’s convenient. I’m thinking about buying another one and putting it in the closet.Even with the little quirks of this machine, overall I like it very much and am pleased with quality of printing, especially photos.

Admittedly, set-up for this CANON MG3600 PIXMA PRINTER was not intuitive – but after referring to 3 YouTube videos, I got it up & running. I successfully printed 5 return labels, applauded my abilities, wildly denigrated the whining idiots who’d posted negative reviews, and went on with life.2 months later, I attempted a print job using both sides of the paper, and it jammed. I cleared the jam, reset the printer, cleared the job from my laptop, and initiated the same job anew – this time asking for print on a single side. The printer – still fully, wirelessly, connected – spit out 2 clean sheets of paper, made a few noises, stopped, and generated an error message on my laptop indicating printer was jammed.I went to the Canon website and read their troubleshooting suggestions. I also spent some time on Google, where the following phrases auto-populated in rapid succession:- canon mg3600 series printer not responding- canon PIXMA stopped working- canon PIXMA not printing wireless- canon PIXMA wireless not working- canon printer not responding WIN10- canon mg3600 not printing IOS- canon printer not working with MAC- canon printer not working with DELL- canon printer not working with PCI began troubleshooting.I took printer back to factory resets, reset the printer, cleared the jam, cleared the job from my laptop, and initiated the single-sided job anew. The printer spit out 2 clean sheets of paper, made a few more noises, stopped, and generated an error message on my laptop indicating printer was jammed.I deleted software/drivers and reinstalled, cleared the jam, cleared the job from my laptop, and initiated the same job anew. After nearly returning it, Iâm now satisfied with my Canon printer
The set up was easy, but connecting it wirelessly was a pain, after almost 3h trying I was about to return it, when finally I was able to print in a direct connection with my phone. Then I started test it and I printed photos and documents. The photo quality really impressed me due to its a cheap printer, but it does very well. The black/white I noticed some artifacts, but if you choose color (even when you want only black/white) thereâs no artifacts and works very well. Ink capacity is decent. If the quality of prints was not that good I would probably returned it. But so far Iâm happy

Really good printer works very well a bit confusing to set up but once you figure it out itâs easy to use. scanning capability is really good and The noise level is like a 1 itâs not loud. The printing speed is very fast and it worth the price

This is a replacement purchase. I like the printer and the quality of the printing. Of course the cartridges are really the expensive part. I had difficulty with the bluetoothj setting so I use a cord.

The product is incompatible with the UK, the plug is not useable and the voltage is American, I asked for a return which you agreed . The problem with the return is that I have to pay the costs and the return postage ( to the USA) is over £80.00. So I am stuck with a useless printer which cost me £104 and I have now no idea how to contact Amazon for a simpler way to return this useless printer.
